Maddie Englese serves as VisitHATTIESBURG’s Communications Manager. In her role, Maddie manages VisitHATTIESBURG and its programs' online presence. Not only is Maddie the primary content creator for each program through written blogs, itinerary building, and more, but she also oversees all social media accounts for the destination and its umbrella programs.

Such accounts include:

• VisitHATTIESBURG (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Pinterest)
• Hattiesburg Alliance for Public Art (Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok)
• Mississippi Miss Hospitality (Facebook and Instagram)
• Downtown Hattiesburg Association (Facebook and Instagram)
• Hattiesburg GeoTour (Facebook)
• 1964 Freedom Summer Trail (Facebook)
• Pinebelt Blueways (Facebook and Instagram)

Prior to her full-time role as VisitHBURG’s Communication Manager, Maddie worked for the organization for more than six months as a part-time Communication Coordinator and with the Downtown Hattiesburg Association as an intern. Through these two jobs, Maddie found her passion for tourism, which she now gets to use in attracting visitors to the city. Maddie is a 2022 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising.
