Dog Days 5K run and 2-mile walk @ FestivalSouth

Run or walk in the Dog Days 5 Mile, 5K, or 2 Mile event on Saturday, June 13, 2026! This family-friendly FestivalShares event supports the Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, and dogs are welcome to join their humans for the 5K and 2 Mile events. Come enjoy the fun and don’t miss the Run-by Dog Pageant featuring local celebrity judges (participating pups will be identified by bib number during the 2 Mile and 5K races). All participants who complete their event will receive finisher awards, with additional “Top Dog” honors for the overall top finishers. Registration includes a commemorative event t-shirt (for those registered by the deadline), plus access to the Finish Line Pawty with food (including breakfast by Topher’s), live music, and local vendors. The event will be professionally timed by Mississippi Race Timing.
