At the heart of Jamba Jollof is a husband-and-wife team passionate about sharing Nigerian cuisine with the Hattiesburg community. Megan, a Mississippi native, was first introduced to Nigerian food through her husband, Ola. With a background in history and international relations, Ola had long been interested in the cultural connections between West African cuisine and Southern food traditions. Together, they explored those shared roots and reimagined them into a menu that blends Nigerian classics with subtle fusion elements—creating not just a meal, but a meaningful cultural experience.
