Terms and Conditions for VisitHATTIESBURG’s Instagram Giveaway Contest as of 12/18/2024

Eligibility: The giveaway contest is open to participants who meet the following criteria:
1. Reside in The United States of America
2. Are 18 years of age or older
3. Are not employees of VisitHATTIESBURG or their affiliates, nor members of their immediate families or households.
Entry: To enter, participants must follow the instructions outlined in the contest post on Instagram. Entry requirements may include following or commenting. Entries incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be disqualified.
Duration: The giveaway contest starts on 12/18/2024] and ends on 12/31/2024 at 11:59 P.M. CST. Only entries submitted before the deadline will be considered.
Prize: The winner will receive a two-night stay at the Hotel Indigo, a $50 gift card to Brass Hat, and a $100 gift card to Buschman Street Cafe. As defined in the terms, the prize is non-transferable, and there will be no cash alternatives to it. VisitHATTIESBURG reserves the right to substitute the prize with a product or service of equal value.
Winner Selection: The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries by the deadline. The winner will be notified by direct message on Instagram within seven business days after the deadline. If the winner does not respond within two business days, another winner will be selected.
Publicity: By participating in the giveaway contest, the winner agrees to allow VisitHATTIESBURG to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation.
Liability: VisitHATTIESBURG is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to participants or their property related to their participation in the giveaway contest. Participants agree to release and hold VisitHATTIESBURG and their affiliates harmless from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the giveaway contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
Governing Law: The giveaway contest and these terms and conditions are governed by and construed per the laws of the state of Mississippi and the FTC.
